Outdoor means a rough setting: wind, rain, snow, heat and cold. Closed, the weather does not matter to the SofaBOX, however hard it gets. When it clears, you lift the lid and swing the seat into place. Done.

Outdoors, the material has to be robust, light and high-grade. The SofaBOX is built that way, and the design is its own. The base is an expedition case in aluminium. The seats resist UV light, chlorine and salt water, and they cope with large swings in temperature. The older it gets, the more you use it and the more you leave it out, the more patina it takes on. It looks the better for it.
